Gas flow testing

Why?

The gas flow through the entire intake system of an engine is directly proportional to the engine output, exhaust emissions and fuel economy. Therefore measuring the airflow through the engine parts e.g. Cylinderhead, manifold, carburettor, air filter and exhaust system is required for an optimisation process in total engine design.

In order to get ideas how a flowrig works, I did some

gas flow testing on an existing, simple built flowrig.
